In my experience all the NGOs/Non-profits that are investing resources, time, money on advertising their cause, are also getting a good feedback from donors and people in general. I also have to clarify that you can reach out also people within India, and not necessary wait on foreign help. I encourage you to collect a good amount of photography and videos and put them out there, and contact people personally. If your cause is worth, people will support it, no doubt on that.
